Celebrities On Keto Halle Berry
Halle Berry
Spend some time on Halle Berry's Instagram and you'll quickly learn how much she loves the keto diet — and why. As she explained in one post, "Being diabetic most of my life, I have always had to take food very seriously. So for years, I have been following the keto or ketogenic diet. I hate the word 'diet' so while you'll see the word diet, just know I encourage you to think of it as a lifestyle change NOT A DIET! Keto is a very low-carb food plan which actually forces your body to burn fat like crazy." She added that she also believes keto is largely responsible for slowing down her aging process.

Celebrities On Keto Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens
The actress explained in an interview with People that she alternates between intermittent fasting and keto. Of the latter, she said, "It's great. If you have the right ingredients to keep you on track, I think it's amazing. People a lot of times think of fats in diets as a negative thing, and when you're doing keto it's a very positive thing. I'm always making sure I'm getting those healthy fats in, so I eat a LOT of almond butter. You feel really energetic and supported on the keto diet."

The pro athlete gushed about his experience on the keto diet to GQ: "I'm on something called a ketogenic diet which is high fat, moderate protein, low carb, low sugar. And even if that's not your diet, it's incredible food for you. I put them in my smoothies, guacamole, a bunch of different things. For me it's more than just trying to stay in shape for sports, it's a way of life, of trying to be healthy."

Celebrities On Keto Vinny
Vinny Guadagnino
The Jersey Shore star lost an impressive 50 pounds on keto. So it's only fitting that he'd offer other prospective dieters some tips on his Instagram page: "If you are just beginning keto for your weight loss journey and feel overwhelmed... relax... try not to overthink with thoughts like, 'I can never eat carbs again!? I'm going to fail!'" He added that taking things one meal at a time helped him succeed: "Your hungry brain could be very [tempted] to eat junk food, but your full and satiated brain thinks more rationally. So always have your next keto meal/snack in mind so you have a plan and aren't stuck with big hunger swings. Besides, the more fat you eat and fat adapted you become, the more satiated, satisfied, and full you will always feel."
